That was the front page of the first issue of Rupert Murdoch’s Sun on Sunday,Timberland Shoes, launched on February 26 as a replacement for the News of the World, which Murdoch had shut down as a result of the ever expanding phone-hacking scandal in Britain. But Murdoch has not yet been able to get out in front of the scandal, and although the launch was a successthe first issue sold more than three million copiesthe story didn’t prove a distraction for long.
